Now that it’s the New Year, I’ve been catching up on some of my favorite, and fashionable shows! I’ve fallen in love all over again with Gossip Girl, caught up with Lemon and Zoe on Hart of Dixie, and ‘oo’d and aw’d’ over Jess’s outfit in the New Girl. Read on for some of my favorite looks this past season!
Hart of Dixie-Lemon Breeland
Oh Lemon, a bit sour in personality but so sweet when it comes to her style! I love her floral frocks and vintage style!
Like her old soul personality this dress brings the retro vibe with a beige skater dress embroidered with flowers! And while the weather is almost always nice in Bluebell, to wear this dress in a cooler climate, throw on an embroidered cardigan, and slip into some gold kitten heels. For accessories try a beige bag and daisy earrings.
I love Zooey’s NYC style, especially this blazer and shorts combo!
To get Zooey’s look start with black shorts, a collared shirt, and a fun red studded blazer. For accessories go with a lock and key bag, sunglasses and black wedges.
The New Girl-Jess (Zooey Deschanel)
She’s quirky, she’s cute, and she has one of the best wardrobed on TV! This snapshot from The New Girl‘s holiday show features a fun retro style dress and an adorable blue coat!
To get Zooey’s icy look, start with this adorable white dress from Modcloth, add a waist with this fun, sparkly bow belt and layer it with a bright blue coat. For accessories keep it simple, with nude colored pumps, bow earrings and of course, lots of tight curls and bangs!
Gossip Girl-Blair Waldorf
Where can I even begin to talk about the fashion in Gossip Girl! I’ve loved the casts styles since the show premiered, and adored being able to watch the transformation from plaid skirts and knee skirts to designer dresses. This look is one of my favorite dresses over the entire series of Blair as it’s cute, retro and nautical!
To get a look a-alike-dress, head on over to any vintage or pin up dress website, and add navy and white pumps and of course a silk scarf!
While I’ve loved many of Serena’s gowns, her ability to dress up a pair of pants and a tank top is nothing short of admirable.
To get Serena’s look start with a gold striped tank top. Add bright blue pants and a sequined blazer to top off the look. Next don a pair of studded pumps and a shoulder bag!
