What to Wear There: Fourth of July

Ah the Fourth of July, let freedom ring and break out that red, white and blue! Whether you’re going to a back yard BBQ, a fun beach day with friends, or a nice lunch with family, here are looks for you!

Outfit Number One-Beach

Get the Look!

This first look is all about the easy and breeziness of the beach. Starting with a white button up tie top, add a pair of shorts, complete with American flag pockets, and try these cute stars and stripes converse shoes. For accessories keep with the colors, with a messenger bag, pair of shades, and polka dot button earrings.

Outfit Number Two-Out on the Town

Get the Look!

I love this dress, simply because it has the patriotic colors without looking like a sailor or like a flag got sick on you. This Forever 21 dress would look great with these bow flats from Modcloth, a white purse, and a striped bow!

Outfit Number Three-Family BBQ

Get the Look!

I featured this look in my post on jean jackets, but thought it would be perfect for watching fireworks after a family BBQ! Start with a white t-shirt, maroon shorts and top it off with this adorable star covered jean jacket. To keep with the flag, add accessories with the same colors, and try a peter pan flag necklace for an all out Americana look!

Outfit Number Four- Retro

Get the Look!

While I’ve mentioned that I love skirts and dresses, the Fourth of July, is generally a shorts worthy event. This look captures a bit of a retro vibe, while incorporating the colors of the flag and a trendy chambray shirt! For accessories keep with the colors, with a white bow, bag and try this shoes DIY from ABeautifulMess!

Beauty & Hair

Here are some fun looks that would be perfect for celebrating America’s Independence!
