Trendy Tuesdays: Floral Trends

Nothing says spring quite like floral prints, accessories and dresses! This spring flowers were blooming all over major designers runways, and here are some fun picks on how to bring flowers into your wardrobe!

I couldn’t pick just one flowery dress, so I picked two of my favorites from Modcloth! The one on the right may seem familiar, as I’ve chosen this dress for another post. But I simply love this dress, with the bow and flowery details, all you need is a pair of black tights and kitten heels and you’ll be set! The dress on the right is a bit bolder with the color, and would pair nicely with nude colored heels and a black statement necklace.

One of the best ways to wear a floral top, is through a tunic! Tunics are generally longer, and sheer which when paired with dark jeans, sandals and some colorful accessories, will give you a great spring look!

I always tend to forget that florals look just as good in bottoms, as they do in shirts and tops. For the skirt on the left, pair an offwhite blouse with a pair of offwhite oxfords, for a polished and natural look. The middle look is daring with black floral shorts, a pussy bow blouse and a pair of white Steve Madden flats. For the final look, I chose a pair of floral jeans (which look amazing!) to pair with a flowy white top and peach colored wedges.

A super easy way to work a trend is through accessories! They’re generally much cheaper than buying tops, and bottoms, and you can stock up at places  like Forever 21 and Charlotte Russe. In this set I love the floral pumps from Forever 21, and the black polka dot flower bow!

What do you think of floral prints? Would you wear the floral printed jeans? Let me know!
