What Will I Make Wednesday: Bows Galore Garland

When I think garland, I think Christmas tree.

Yet there are so many possibilities aside from the stringy, shiny material that is wrapped around trees every December. And what better way to spice up garland than with bows? Read on for directions for this cheap and easy project!

  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Paper
  • Sharpies
  • Fishing Line or String
  1. To start, draw or trace the design, in the case a bow, onto a piece of regular computer paper.
  2. Using your scissors cut out the bows.
       3. Turn the bows over and place the fishing line over the bow.
        4. Using the hot glue gun, fuse the string to the paper over the center of the bow.
         5. Using tape or wall putty add the garland to your walls.
Step back and enjoy your work!
